- You begin each session with 3 lives, shown on the top row on the level selection screen.
- Each time you get hit by an enemy or hit an obstacle, you lose a life.
- Lose all your lives and it’s game over.

- Each gold coin you collect is worth 100 points.
- You can view your best score on the game over screen.
